Are you ready to soften into your feminine receptivity, to allow the plant spirits to guide you into your deep intuitive listening and body wisdom. Bringing you into Sacred communion with the plants, to receive their generous gifts of healing.

This deeply transformational journey of self discovery will re-weave Sacred ceremony and ritual back into your daily life, awakening you to the magic and mystery of the Divine natural world. Each plant will guide you into your inner realms, awakening your understanding of your energetic, archetypal patterning and elemental balance within you. This is the doorway to the language of the plants and understanding their gifts of harmony and healing. You will be guided & supported throughout your 13 Moon – Seasonal – Elemental apprenticeship, with:

∇ A rich portfolio of written guidebooks, video, and audio materials to support your learning within each cycle

∇ Ceremonies, shamanic journey, plant rituals & crafting to deepen your relationship with the seasons, cycles, elements and plants throughout our journey

∇ Live Zoom calls facilitated by Rachel Deering, holder of over 25 years experience immersed in herbal medicine, plant spirit medicine and the feminine healing arts. Held fortnightly on Satrudays 8am Perth time, commencing from Saturday 21st February 2026, throughout your apprenticeship (90 minute duration)

∇ Membership to a private facilitated online FB Apprenticeship Circle.

∇ Small intimate healing container with a maximum of 12 participants., held with the dedicated support and guidance of your experienced facilitator. Ensuring a safe and nurturing space for you to dive into the depths of your own healing experience and build the confidence and skills to begin working with this healing modality. ∇ Following this year-long apprenticeship, you’ll be supported in our Level II – 6 month mentorship program, where we refine practical healing tools, begin offering 1:1 sessions, and receive guidance infeminine leadership, space-holding, and conscious business foundations.

Will I receive a certificate with this training?

You will receive a Certificate of Completion from WiseRoots Sacred Medicine School which then allows you to enrol in our Level II Plant Spirit Medcine 6 month mentorship circle, this space is to support you in developing your skills as a practitioner. Once Level II is complete you become a Certified Plant Spirit Medicine Facilitator with IICT and able to purchase insurance to cover your work with clients in 1:1 healing sessions, circles, workshops and retreats.

I do not have any prior herbal knowledge or training, is this course appropriate for me?

Yes, this course is perfect for you. You do not need to have any previous experience with Shamanic practice, herbalism or plant spirit medicine. This sacred apprenticeship will be a transformative journey of self-discovery, diving into your inner realms for your healing process. You will learn to come into deep relationship and intuitive connection with the plants. Through this initiation with the plant spirits you will embody the cyclical wisdom of the elements, the medicine of the plants and plant your roots deep into the belly of mother earth. You will then learn how to offer this medicine in client healing sessions and share plant spirit medicine with your communities through circles, workshops and retreats, if you are called to work with this healing modality as part of your sacred vocation.

I already have a herbal or naturopathic degree, will this course be of any benefit for me?

Yes, absolutely. Your formal degree trainings gives you accreditation for clinical practice, however can leave you feeling as if something is missing, a sense of disconnection. It is the medicine of relationship and connection with the plants that is necessary for you to have an embodied experience of their medicine, a lived experience that you can infuse into your daily rituals and rhythms, to share passionately with your clients.

This grassroots, feminine, shamanic approach of connecting with the spirit of the plants, will awaken your intuitive capacity and feeling sense to connect with the healing qualities of the plants, getting to know them as old friends.

You will understand the energetic map of the body and the elemental qualities of the plants to restore balance, gifting a multidimensional approach to your healing practice. This holistic healing medicine is for the emotional and spirtitual body.

This is embodied elemental herbalism rooted within traditional Shamanic practice, it will awaken the medicine of relationship and wisdom of the plants alive within you. Can you hear the call?

What is the cost of this course and what is your refund policy?

Your 12 month seasonal journey through 7 gateways with 7 initiatory plants is $4800AUD

We have payment plans available at monthly payments of $400 for 12 months.

Level II Plant Spirit Medicine Mentorship Circle is $1200 – this is required for you to receive certification as a Plant Spirit Medicine Facilitator with IICT.

When you commit to the full access or payment plan option of this course, there are no refunds available. You may be able to transfer to the next available course under extenuating circumstances and this is at the discretion of the team at WiseRoots Sacred Medicine School.

Is this course completely online? Are there any live components?

Yes, the course is fully online.

With an online portal to access your pre-recorded videos, comprehensive pdf workbooks, rituals, journeys and practices to guide your initiatory cycle with each of the plants throughout our 12 month journey.

Live component consisting of fortnightly 90 minute Zoom calls which are all recorded for you to watch if you cannot attend the live event. These are posted in your private FB group for you to access at your leisure.

Our daily facilitated private FB community is a space for live connection and engagement with the sealed container of Plant Spirit Medicine participants.

There will be optional in-person workshops and retreats offered in Perth and around Australia throughout the year – these are fully optional and not an essential component of the training. They offer a great opportunity to experience the medicine through in person trainings

How long I can access the course materials?

All of your course material is fully downloadable, I encourage you to download your materials and save in a Plant Spirit Medicine folder for your safe keeping and ease of access. You will have access to your online portal for 12 months and will be emailed 1 month prior to portal closure to remind you to download your course materials.

The FB group will remain open for you to go back over the content posted throughout our 12 month training

Is this apprenticeship open to women worldwide?

This apprenticeship is a seasonal journey guided by the turning of the Wheel of the Year.

To honour the natural rhythms of the Earth in all lands, the training is offered for both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres, allowing each participant to walk in harmony with their local seasons and cycles.

The apprenticeship opens twice each year:
• February for the Southern Hemisphere
• August for the Northern Hemisphere

What plants will we journey with?

Our initiatory plant allies throughout the apprenticeship are:

These sacred plants and trees grow across many climates around the world and are common allies in both the British Isles and Australia.

Alongside journeying with these initiatory plants, you will also be guided to connect deeply with your local plant allies — the plants that live and grow around you.

This brings the medicine into direct relationship with your own land, allowing the teachings to be embodied and alive within your unique environment.
